Virtual Adoptions
For some of our residents, Woodrock is home. Through a Virtual Adoption, you can become part of their story by providing ongoing love and support to dogs who have spent years in our care and may never be adopted. Your kindness helps them live out their days with dignity, comfort, and joy.
Meet Long Lifer, Isabella
Rescued from a scrapyard, Isabella arrived at Woodrock the night she gave birth to her only pup. Gentle but wary, she’s found comfort and safety at Woodrock alongside her loyal friend, Sparky.
Though she may never leave the farm, she’s surrounded by love every day. Virtually adopt Isabella for R150/month and help us keep her world filled with care, calm, and kindness.
Meet Long Lifer, Nugget
Playful, energetic, and full of character, Nugget has spent years waiting for the right home.
Life hasn’t always been easy for this lab-cross, but his spirit shines through. With love and patience, we’re helping him rebuild trust and rediscover joy.
Virtually adopt Nugget for R150/month and help us give him the love, enrichment, and second chance he deserves.
Adoption Application and Booking Fee
Download our Adoption Application Form. A R200 non-refundable Adoption and Booking fee is payable on application.
This amount will be deducted from the total Adoption Fee if the application for the adoption is successful, i.e. all requisites have been met. All animals are sterilised (if old enough), vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms before leaving our premises.
Adoption Fees
You agree that should you adopt an unsterilised animal from Woodrock Animal Rescue, you must have the animal sterilised. If the animal is a Puppy, it must be sterilised when it reaches six months. You also need to send Woodrock Animal Rescue proof of sterilisation.
Puppy R1850: includes first vaccination, deworming, flea treatment, and microchipping. Should the puppy not be ready for sterilisation at the time of going home, Woodrock will provide a sterilisation certificate to be claimed by one of our affiliated Vets. Proof of sterilisation is to be sent to Woodrock.
Adult R1650: includes vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping & sterilisation.
If you adopt an additional adult dog, you will receive a 25% discount on the second dog.
Adult Cats R1300: includes vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping & sterilisation.
Kittens R1100: includes vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment, microchipping & sterilisation.
If you adopt an additional adult cat, you will receive a 25% discount on the second cat.
