Woodrock’s Beloved Pop-Pups Return to Joburg This Weekend

Woodrock Animal Rescue’s much-loved Pop-Pups are back from this Saturday, 10 January, inviting Joburgers to meet rescue dogs, connect with their community, and find a forever friend.

The wait is over! Our popular Pop-Pups return this weekend, bringing rescue dogs back into the heart of Johannesburg’s suburbs and giving you the chance to connect, engage, and fall in love.

We are looking forward to seeing you again at Fourways Crossing and at our brand new home in Parktown North, where you can meet our dogs in a relaxed, family-friendly setting that makes adoption accessible, joyful and community-driven.

From playful puppies to soulful adult dogs, each Pop-Pup is filled with wagging tails, hopeful hearts, and the promise of forever homes.

Parktown North: A New Urban Green Setting

If you first got to meet our furry family at our Pop-Pups home at The GardenShop in Parktown North, you are going to love our new home which is still neighbouring the nursery but now part of Nine Yards, the newly opened lifestyle precinct neighbouring which everyone in Joburg is talking about!

Set at the foot of an urban green development, Nine Yards offers landscaped pathways, shaded seating, outdoor dining areas, and pockets of lush gardens - the perfect backdrop for spending meaningful time with rescue dogs!

Fourways: A Familiar Favourite Returns

Further north, from this Saturday, we are back at the ever-popular Bark Park at Fourways Crossing, a long-time favourite among dog lovers and supporters of rescue.
