Olievenhoutbosch Outreach: Help Us Keep Animals Safe
This past weekend, Woodrock Animal Rescue held another successful community
outreach in Olievenhoutbosch, one of our most impactful yet.
208 dogs received rabies vaccinations with additional care provided to puppies and vulnerable animals. A further 78 animals signed up for sterilisation, helping prevent unwanted litters and promote responsible pet ownership.
But amid the progress, tragedy struck. A dog ran towards our team without a collar or harness and was tragically hit by a car. It was a heartbreaking reminder of why basic safety measures are so important during outreach.
We urgently need your help.
If you have spare dog leads, collars or harnesses at home, please consider donating them to Woodrock. These simple essentials can help us keep animals safer during future outreaches.
With 78 animals signed up for sterilisation, you can also give a meaningful gift this
festive season by sponsoring a procedure in someone’s name.
We’ll provide a certificate acknowledging your gift, along with a photograph of the animal whose sterilisation your donation supports.
This outreach would not have been possible without Tracey Bosman and her team
from the Animal Justice League, whose partnership helped make the weekend’s
work possible.
To donate leads, collars or harnesses, or to sponsor a sterilisation, please
