Fashion lovers, thrifters and treasure hunters, we have exciting news!

Woodrock Thrift is heading to South African Fashion Week this Friday, 24 April, at Hyde Park, Johannesburg.

Our moment on the fashion week ramp comes after we were asked to accessorise the new range by Fundudzi by Craig Jacobs, a brand rooted in sustainability, heritage and conscious design.

Titled There’s Nothing New Under the Sun,” this collection is made entirely from offcuts, repurposed garments and deadstock, a powerful reminder that fashion can be reimagined, not replaced. Woodrock Thrift’s pre-loved shoes and accessories form part of the story on the runway, proving that pieces with history still have a place in the future of fashion.

In the lead-up to the show, our Parkwood store has been a hive of activity from model fittings to final styling touches, all happening right here among our rails of pre-loved treasures.

We also had a visit from lifestyle influencer Sherinne Winderley, who picked up an outfit to wear at the show!

Because at Woodrock, every item has purpose. Every purchase helps fund the rescue, rehabilitation and care of animals who need it most.
